Whether you live nearby or are traveling from afar, the New York Botanical Garden is always worth a visit. From now until June 13th however, there are even more reasons to stop by this New York City landmark. Together with the Poetry Society of America, the New York Botanical Garden is hosting the exhibition “Emily Dickinson’s Garden: The Poetry of Flowers,” a show that features a re-creation of Dickinson’s 19th century garden and homestead, alongside a gallery exhibition of photographs, watercolors, and poetry.
The Botanical Garden will host a series of “Special Celebrations” over the duration of the exhibit, including a poetry reading and discussion this Saturday and Sunday in honor of Mother’s Day.
