The Studio was abuzz all summer with all kinds of new projects from product and print design to interior design for two Nantucket properties. For one of the properties, I started with a clean palette of whites, creams and grays, then added deep reds and indigos for a rich, global feeling.
Using pillows, throws, footstools and rugs, the color could be carefully placed and curated so that the light airiness of the space wasn’t lost.
I found a small vintage Persian rug from One Kings Lane that we used to create a magnificent pillow. Textured and rich, it was just the right shape for a low bench in the living room.
