Wisteria are stunning, but are not the only climbing plants suitable for pergolas. It all started with grape vines and today the range has spread to Bougainvillea, Morning Glory, English Ivy and many others. Vines grow fast though and require pruning and care though the cooling foliage is well worth the effort. There are also many different styles when choosing an outdoor structure, pergola designs and even plans for DIY pergolas to save on ready made kits. By the way, your white pergola is a perfect match to the Wisteria. Well done.
